Frontier High Boosts Career Prospects for Students

Frontier High School has added a part-time college and career adviser to help students explore career and employment opportunities.

Career Advisement Specialist Emily Brock has assisted students in exploring career technical education programs and helps students apply to trade schools or programs at local community colleges. She also assists students with their resumes and interviewing skills, guiding them on how to dress and preparing them for possible questions and answers.

Additionally, Brock has assisted students with applying for part-time work and helped organize on-campus presentations featuring representatives from Fullerton College and Tri Cities ROP, among others.

Since coming on board, Brock has met with 67 students individually, 104 students have attended a workshop or presentation and 47 have applied to part-time jobs.
